Meet the Artist
Hello! I am Sherma Badal Owner and Designer at Marie Rose Floral—named after my darling daughter Marie Rose.
I’ve loved flowers for what seems like a lifetime. I grew up helping my mom make weekly arrangements for our local church and I am so thrilled that this floral life chose me. I am a certified in floral design from Flower School NY where I learned from New York City’s top floral designers.
Before floristry, I enjoyed a teaching career in public health academia, public health administration, and cardiac surgery nursing. I am thrilled at the opportunity to bring my attention to detail and high quality to you through floristry.

Imani Banks is a DC native with expertise in hospitality and events. She is taken with the old charm and the magical history of the district and with years of industry experience connects our clients to the most spaces where memories can be created. Her career has been centered on exceptional client relations and high-quality service.
Imani is also a lover of beautiful florals and is always excited to introduce our valued clients to the power of the flower whether for a special day, or space.
